The Gardens at the Centre Furnace Mansion
Inspiration for the Centre Furnace Mansion gardens reflects the styles that began in the 19th century when Ironmaster Moses Thompson and his family lived in the Mansion. The gardens and grounds are open to visitors from dawn to dusk.
The Boogersburg School
On May 1, 1877, Moses Thompson, the ironmaster and owner of Centre Furnace, deeded property along what is now Fox Hill Road for the Boogersburg School. For the next 75 years, the Boogersburg School served first through eighth grade youth. Learn More >>
