This is a pattern for a contemporary sampler that draws elements from Centre County samplers created between 1820 and 1842.

Includes color sampler pattern, information about the sampler and motifs that are used, stitch diagram and color chart for silk or cotton threat. Finished sampler measures 22in x 22in.

Designed by Ann Barton and digitized by Lynda DeBrasky to benefit the Centre County Historical Society. In conjunction with the CCHS Exhibit - Unraveling the Threads of History: Needlework Samplers from the 19th Century
